The European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) invites students to its upcoming virtual event, “Music & IP: Protect Your Creativity and Shape Your Future.

The session will explore how Intellectual Property (IP) shapes the music industry, from understanding who owns a song to protecting creative work and using music responsibly in the digital environment.

Through an introduction to the fundamentals of IP, real-world insights from a musician, and practical guidance from IP experts, participants will learn how IP can help protect creativity, support career development, and enable informed choices in the digital world.

The event may be particularly relevant for students interested in music, intellectual property, content creation, the creative industries, and digital media.
