⚡ UNIC Lightning Bites 2026 is here!

We are pleased to launch the 2026 UNIC Lightning Bites series, bringing together colleagues from across the UNIC (European University of Cities in Post-Industrial Transition) alliance for short, focused conversations connecting research, policy, and practice around the challenges facing our cities.

🏙️ Our first Lightning Bite: Housing for All: Building Inclusive and Resilient Cities

Housing has become one of the most pressing challenges facing European cities. This session will bring together perspectives from across the UNIC alliance to explore how universities, cities, researchers, and practitioners can contribute to more inclusive, accessible, and resilient approaches to housing.

The Lightning Bites series is designed to create space for exchange across institutions and cities: sharing experiences, identifying promising practices, and asking how knowledge and policy can translate into meaningful change on the ground.
